If you are interested in learning more about feminist poetry while also discovering some amazing poems by various authors, then The Ascent of Feminist Poetry is the right book for you. It’s short, sweet and to the point. And if you’re anything like me, you will enjoy this book over a cup of tea in the afternoon.
I was not surprised when Charles told me that his book was excerpted by the Huffington Post. The book celebrates the new age of poetry and sheds a light on how the publishing world has change particularly for poets in times when social media influence is one of the most important assets an individual could have.
I recommend you give this book a read. You won’t regret it! Get it on Amazon now!

When Omar Morales, Guinness World Record holder for writing the longest comic book published, asked me to review his graphic novel, I had no idea what to expect since I don’t think I read more than one graphic novel in my life. And once I saw the cover and started reading, I realized that Cruzader wasn’t like anything I have read before.
It’s a comic, it’s a fantasy, and it’s a Christian novel all in one filled with unrighteous villain both from and out of this world. I must confess, I usually wouldn’t pick up a graphic novel especially if it’s a religious one. But reading the Cruzader taught me the real meaning of not judging a book by its cover. I actually enjoyed leafing through the vivid graphics and reading the brief but encompassing dialogue. And the preachy vibe that usually makes me avoid religious books and films was not as intense in the Cruzader.
The book itself felt more like a series of short films that can be enjoyed independently. Although, you have to read them all until you get to the final few stories where things begin to change. I must admit, I would’ve loved to see more conflict in a lot of scenes. But I guess the concise nature of graphic novels doesn’t leave much room for that.
All in all, I really enjoyed reading the Cruzader and looking forward to what Omar Morales has in store next. Please grab a copy and let me know what you think. You can also follow Omar on his blog and social media accounts.
Bio: Omar Morales is the creator, writer, publisher and eternal sufferer of CruZader™: Agent of the Vatican – a supernatural tale about an exorcist who is forced into duty as a holy hitman for the Vatican against his will. He summarizes CruZader in five words sure to give comic book fans the chills, “Aliens. Prophesies. Sinners & Saints.” Morales literally blew up with CruZader, producing a poster-sized version of chapter one to gain entrance into the Guinness Book of World Records as the titleholder for “Largest Comic Book Published” which you can see at the Guinness website: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/largest-comic-book-published
