Word of the Day: Shirk

Image

Hello my friends. If you hate Mondays, today’s word may just be the right one for you!

Shirk [shurk] (verb):

to evade, dodge, ignore (work, duty, responsibility)

Example:

She shirked the file on her table. “This could wait till tomorrow,” she thought.
