Word of the Day

ImageToday’s word comes from the land of the mystic and mysterious.

Inscrutable (adj.):

1. incapable of being investigated, analyzed, or scrutinized; impenetrable.

2. not easily understood; mysterious; unfathomable: an inscrutable smile.

3. incapable of being seen through physically; physically impenetrable.

Example:

In spite being praised by various critics, the art of abstract paintings remains inscrutable for the public.

  1. I love your Word of the Day posts! And I love this word a lot, too. I wish I used it more often, even just once in my stories though LOL

BTW I just nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award 🙂
